BIM starts consultancy group to build competitiveness of MSMEs
With a special focus on developing and nurturing micro, small and medium enterprises, Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM), a School of Excellence of Bharathidasan University, has started a Consulting Group to render business consultancy services to organisations. The Consulting Group promises robust guidance on strategy building, finance, marketing, operational excellence and HR solutions.
Strategic solutions to enhance stakeholder value will be suggested based on macro-environment, clients' business models, vendors, customers and processes.
The BIMCG will provide world class business insights, analytical tools, and frameworks, and a concrete road map to help organisations make the right decisions at the right time, according to R.Subramanian, Chairperson, BIMCG.
Prospective clients are to be initiated into effective financial management systems through financial planning, budgetary control systems, cost management, taxation, financial restructuring, and valuation.
Marketing guidance will be offered in the areas of market segmentation, market penetration, pricing, branding, distribution, logistics, communication management, and revenue management. And operational excellence will be achieved through emphasis on supply chain, productivity, quality, and energy conservation. Improvements in performance management system, organisation structure, and training and development will constitute HR solutions, Dr. Subramanian said.
