Advance Steel 2016 Extension for Revit 2016
Autodesk introduced Advance Steel 2016 Extension for Revit. This newly launched Revit Extension, supports only Revit 2016. So the Revit users will get the ability to link their models to Advance Steel 2016 with the export, import and synchronize features to transmit the model BIM data.
With this interoperability, the users can quickly generate typical arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and NC files for steel structures.
As the BIM data is coordinated with the applications, the users will be able to update the revisions devoid of reimporting the whole structure. It also minimizes the risk of prospective errors with the chances of tracing changes occurred in the same model in diverse applications.
With Advance Steel 2016 Extension, the BIM data from the Revit model is imported or exported also in other formats like SDNF (Version 2.0 and Version 3.0), CIS2, IFC, and PSS.
