About Gunite contractors
The term Gunite refers to the "dry spray method" of spraying concrete. We use a gunite machine for this type of application dry batched material is fed into the machines hopper where it if forced down the line by compressed air to the nozzle gun. The nozzle gun has a water tap fitted to it which the nozzleman controls to hydrate the dry material. We use this method of spraying concrete for smaller repair areas where using ready mix is not cost effective or for jobs where we have bad access for the larger machinery involved with the wet spray process.
